Shree Ram Secondary School, Khopasi

This is a secondary school that sits on a village in Kavre district with a poor financial support for maintaining a good environment for kids. This is the only public high school in that area readily accessible by walking less than 30 minutes for more than 500 kids. Most of the students attending this high school have poor financial background and very little time for education. Many students go to school, do the house work and their parents do labor work all day just to keep their soul together. It is very hard for the people in this area to send their kids to any place other than public school. If the buildings are not rebuild the school will need to cut the number of classes they teach which will eliminate the chances of high school education for many of these kids. The school has come up with some funds from different sources and school savings. However it is running short of money to rebuild all of the buildings that need renovation/rebuilding. Lets try to help the school as much as we can.

I went to this school in my high school days and there are many students attending this school. Recently, they are in an effort to rebuild those buildings that look risky and in measurable conditions. This page contains several pictures of the school (before the building was torn down and after the build was torn down) along with the letter from the School representatives to me and all Nepalese living in USA. Please help them rebuild the school and help the kids in that community get their education smoothly.
